Walk the Talk: Finding local solutions to hunger & poverty CANCELLED

The 28th May is World Hunger Day. It has been estimated that almost 800 million people in the world don’t have enough food to eat. While exploring landscape and wildlife of the Holme Pit and Clifton Woods, you will be asked to discuss our latest theme – finding local solutions to hunger and poverty.

Facilitators will be on hand to encourage discussions and record key points discussed during the walk. At the end of the walk you will be provided with refreshments.

Those travelling to the walk by tram are also entitled to purchase an ‘event ticket’ at a reduced price. To get a discount, book beforehand via Eventbrite and have your ticked ready to show to the inspector if requested.

It’s time to walk the talk.

Please wear sensible footwear and clothing. Make sure you arrive early, as we are leaving the Communities Hub at 16:40
