Do you have opinions on #BLM, racism and anti-racist action?
Join us for a series of online conversations to explore what being actively anti-racist means to you, and how we can unite across communities to combat racism together. These conversations will come from a place of truth and hope, looking at how we take action through collaboration and mutual support.
Working with professional artists, these sessions will include spoken word and poetry to inspire our thinking and create dialogue during the sessions. Come along with an open mind, and a willingness to listen to others and share your own thoughts. Feel free to bring a cuppa and cake too, we want you to be comfortable and cosy! These sessions will be informal, interactive, friendly and forward thinking.
These series of community conversations will help create a short film, made by the artists you’ll meet during these sessions. This film will collate our ideas together, and represent our visions for Nottingham as an actively anti-racist city.
Open to ages 18 years plus.
