Digital Confidence Training
A Digital Guide for Charities and Voluntary Groups to Build Community Cohesion, Tackle Social Issues, and Optimise Digital Impact
Why do we need to build digital confidence?
Digital spaces are where community narratives are shaped, challenged and spread. They are also where harm escalates fastest. Despite efforts, many individuals, unions, charities and voluntary groups still struggle to take up space online as harmful narratives gain ground. Challenging misinformation, online hate and algorithm-driven content often falls to small teams with limited time, skills or support.
We started Digital Confidence Training because this gap was leaving harmful narratives unchecked and online spaces unsafe for the people communities exist to protect. This training is designed to give everyone the confidence, tools, and support to take up space, challenge harm, and ensure that community voices are not lost.
What does the training do?
